Herbs and Wonders🌿

The aroma of culinary herbs is natural and unique. Every kitchen herb imparts a special flavor to the food into which it gets incorporated. There is nothing that can replace them in our special dishes and we surely can’t imagine cooking without them. A dash of herbs enriches the flavor of any simple dish.

They are rich sources of antioxidants, anti-inflammatory compounds, essential oils, certain vitamins, and dietary fiber, which contribute to our health and immunity. Herbs are used in food as well as medicine since ancient times and their importance in our life remains the same at all times. Medicinal properties differ among herbs, for example, mint leaves are used in treating indigestion, whereas Brahmi (Centella asiatica) is used to treat hair fall.

Most of the kitchen herbs can be grown at home, which makes it possible to use them fresh and organic. When used as seasonings, they infuse the food with flavor and fragrance. Culinary herbs are used in sauces, soups, garnishes, stews, salads and the list goes on. Due to the essential oils present in them, herbal extracts are also used in aromatherapy and perfumes.
